Ready For Takeoff (Flight 2023)

New Year's Eve have got to be one of the greatest moments in false promises history. Many people lie to themselves on this day just to have a brief moment of pride. Vision Boards are pasted with images of fit bodies, big houses, loving relationships, financial success, travel destinations and more. For some, there is good intention but because of lack of consistent action the dream remains a dream. We've all wore these caps at some point in our lives. However, I strongly admonish that you do not let your vision board become a wish list. Vision boards are NOT wish lists. Vision boards are your future outlined on paper. It is imperative that you check off your visions from time to time and keep track of progress.

I remember the great poet Langston Hughes once asked "What happens to a dream deferred?" After 70 years I finally have the answer for Mr. Hughes. Every time I perform my highly acclaimed poem "RISE" from my book "The Time of Your Life: How To Win Life's Battles" I state that a dream deferred remains a dream. Therefore, to mitigate this type of outcome I have a few tips for your success inspired by airplanes.

1) Lift Your Head Up!

You can not touch the sky looking down. You can not afford to look down on yourself or others. You can not afford to look down on your past. Yesterday is beneath you, Tomorrow is above you. Look Up! You must always remember to look above your circumstances. You are greater than your negative circumstances. Look up with positive thoughts. Look up to God! A pilot who looks down never flies.

2) Fuel Yourself With The Right Energy For Flight.

It takes fuel to generate power. Therefore, if you want a powerful year ahead of you then you are going to need the right fuel. This means that you need the right people with the right energy for growth, the right food with the right nutrients for health, the right workout with the right results for fitness, the right entertainment, the right truth, hobbies, habits and so on. ALL power is based on fuel. Once you use the fuel correctly, power will generate.

3) Move With Speed.

A key element to takeoff is the speed needed to lift. Do not slunk on your goals. Procrastination or what I like to call it "ProCRASHtination" is the quickest way to crash. Sluggishness will cause you to miss opportunities if you always try to be comfortable. The bible says to "watch the ant O sluggard" (Proverbs 6:6-11). The sluggard will become the victim of poverty while the active is the friend of prosperity. Push yourself to be faster and better. Make haste.

4) Remain Consistent.

To stay in the air you must remain consistent. Flight is a consistent motion. Consistency is the nurturer of greatness. Don't get arrogant after one good month but continue to put in the effort. After 3 and a half months of consistent good actions it will become much easier.

Be sure to check out "The Time of Your Life: How To Win Life's Battles" to learn winning strategies for life. Also, you can download the free pdf book "60 Golden Thoughts For A Successful Life" to start your year of with the right mindset and life coaching.

I wish you all the best for the new year. See you in the air.

I 100% affirm this message. All the New Years revolution. Why not start now? Why wait? Why out off what can be done today for tomorrow? Also, I firmly believe the sky is the limit. The only person stopping you from achieving is you.
